PURCHASING A DOMAIN

Please read carefully all information, details, and facts for each domain before purchasing or making an offer.

Sale is of a domain name only, unless otherwise indicated.

All domains with a price indicated can be purchased online via Buy Now link/button (processed by PayPal).  These prices are non-negotiable.

All domains without a price are the ones where you can make an offer using the provided form. If your offer for a domain does not receive a response within 3 days then your offer was deemed much too low. We respond to serious offers only.

All sales are final and absolutely NO REFUNDS will be made, so please make your purchases responsibly. We can consider viable options for extreme cases at our sole discretion.

LEASING A DOMAIN

We are always open to domain lease (domain rent) inquiries. We understand that sometimes it’s more affordable for a buyer or developer to lease a domain instead of buying. We can negotiate mutually beneficial monthly or yearly lease agreements including long-term domain lease agreements. Lease deals will be agreed between the buyer and seller specifically for each domain and a lease agreement can be signed as agreed between the buyer and the seller. Check Lease Domains section for more details.

DOMAIN DEVELOPMENT DEALS based on Gross Revenue Sharing Basis

In some cases, we will partner with web developers with proven track record to develop our domains based on a mutually beneficial "gross revenue sharing basis." This option suits experienced web developers or companies and you don’t need to spend any money on buying the domain. We retain the full domain ownership while we share with you the revenue from the domain development. Revenue sharing is based on the “Gross Revenue” and the developer gets higher share than us. We are flexible on revenue sharing % rates.

You can contact us to discuss it further if you are an experienced web developer. Domain development deals will be agreed between the developer and us (the domain owner) specifically for each domain and a formal agreement can be signed as agreed between the developer and us.

This is a win-win situation for all the parties because we don't need to worry about development and the developer does not need to spend thousands of dollars upfront on acquiring great domain in order to develop a profitable business.

You can send your proposal or questions to us using the Contact Us form on our website.

OFFERS

An offer or counter-offer is only valid for 72 hours or 3 days. Either party can hold the other responsible for failure to meet their obligations if their offer was accepted.

ImpactDomains.com reserves the right to reject any offer at anytime for any reason.

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SELLER AND THE BUYER

Seller will transfer the control of the domain to the buyer after the buyer pays the agreed upon cost to buy the domain to the seller. Buyers will own the domain(s) as long as they continue to pay a standard annual registrar fee before the expiration date to the appropriate registrar of the domain.

When the domain offer has been accepted, the buyer will have up to 7 days within which to send payment to the seller. Any domains bought directly from the site (via PayPal or other instant purchase method), it should be expected that the domain name will be transferred to the buyer within 7 days, unless some technical or other matters beyond the seller’s control prevent that from happening. In most cases, we should be able to transfer the domain name to the buyer in only 2-5 days after we have received the confirmation of the receipt of funds.

The domain will be transferred or pushed into an account in the buyers name when payment is received. The buyer may choose to transfer the domain name to a different registrar after they have assumed ownership of the domain name from us.

We can also facilitate the direct transfer to another registrar upon agreement which can take up to 7-10 days, or more sometimes. The receiving registrar will most likely charge a domain transfer fee which must be paid by the buyer.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the domain name’s registration is renewed after the purchase so that they continue to own the domain name. Domains can be registered and renewed for up to 10 years for most domain extensions at most domain registrars.

PAYMENT METHODS

We offer many methods of payment including:

-          PayPal

-          Wire Transfer

-          Western Union

-          Certified Check

-          Escrow (escrow.com)

-          Other private reputable escrow services from domain brokers

-          Direct Bank Deposit (available only to customers based in the United States)

For transactions over $3,500, we prefer to use methods other than PayPal.

The default payment for transactions under $3,500 is PayPal. Buyers can contact us if they wish to use a different form of payment. Payments and retainers on domains are non-refundable.

In order to protect both the buyer and seller from fraud, where transaction amounts exceed US$3,500, we urge our customers to choose one of the more secure methods of payment listed above.

You can contact us to discuss the details of transaction and appropriate payment methods. We can also discuss other payment methods if suited to both parties.

Buying using PayPal

Our website can process payment quickly via PayPal.

If a domain name is listed with a price, the buyer can simply click on the “Buy Now” button to checkout and pay via PayPal. PayPal allows the buyers to fund their PayPal accounts with any major credit card, debit card or even via direct bank account/credit.

If the buyer funds his/her PayPal account by a direct bank credit transfer, it may take up to 5 working days before PayPal clears the funds for use.

We can NOT proceed with the domain transfer until PayPal confirms that the funds have been fully cleared.

PURCHASE MULTIPLE DOMAINS

If the buyer is interested in purchasing multiple domain names, there is also an “Add To Cart” button. This button allows the buyer to purchase many domains in one single transaction.

In order to protect both the buyer and seller from fraud, where transaction amounts exceed US$3,500, we urge our customers to choose one of the more secure methods of payment listed above.

DOMAIN FINANCING

We do not provide domain financing at this time. We can suggest domain financing from other individuals/companies sometimes, but we can not be held responsible for any issues arising out of the financing deals between you (buyer) and the financing companies or individuals. You must be responsible to check all the information and facts for their accuracy before agreeing to any financing deals with any entity. Buyer must not hold us liable for any of the financing deals it enters in to.

DOMAIN NAME OWNERSHIP TRANSFER

Upon receiving payment for a domain name, we will ask the buyer to provide us all the pertinent and accurate info for the new registrant of the domain name that the buyer just bought. We will use this information to transfer the domain name to the buyer.

In order to facilitate timely transfer of ownership you must provide all pertinent and accurate info. Any incomplete information may result in unnecessary delays.

We will email the buyer with the transfer details including login details if any. The buyer will then have full ownership, control and responsibility for the domain name(s) it just bought. The buyer can then change name servers, registration info, and any other services as needed to use the domain name.

We will try to provide transfer and ownership change details as soon as possible. Buyers can track the ownership status of the domain via checking the WhoIs database of most domain registrars.

The buyer will have full control and responsibility of the domain name when domain name is listed in their account at their domain registrar. Buyer must continue to renew the domain registration before the current domain expiry date (after purchasing from us), otherwise the domain name will expire and may become available to register by some other party. Buyer must note that the failure to renew can lead to loss or cancellation of the domain name.

If buyers buy third party domains listed on ImpactDomains.com, then they must agree not to hold ImpactDomains.com liable for any actions, issues, or damages arising out of disagreements between them and the third party sellers. Buyers also agree fully to the section on this website called: SELL YOUR DOMAINS via ImpactDomains.com

Do you want to sell your premium domain names via ImpactDomains.com?

ImpactDomains.com only list top quality generic and brand-able domain names that can be used for launching successful websites and online businesses. We may consider listing your domains if the domains are of high quality.

These domains must be generic, or highly brand-able. The sellers must be willing to sell at reasonable prices. You can contact us via the contact us page. You should include full information about the domains, including category and prices. Only send your top domains, as we will ignore huge lists. We will notify you via email only if we decide to list your domains for sale.

If your domain name is listed with us, we will notify you via email when we receive an offer for your domain name. For domain names listed with prices, the sales transactions will be processed immediately on our website via PayPal for amounts up to $3,500.

We will charge $99 or 7% commission fee (whichever is more) per domain sale if the domain is sold.  You (the seller) agree to pay us this commission upon successful sale of a domain that was listed on ImpactDomains.com

Third Party sellers will sell their domains directly to the buyers while ImpactDomains.com will be providing the help during the domain sale negotiation process. We may negotiate on the seller’s behalf if appropriate. Both the third party sellers and the buyers are responsible for conducting their business as agreed during the sale process negotiations and will not hold ImpactDomains.com responsible for any issues.  Buyers and Sellers agree that they understand that ImpactDomains.com is merely facilitating the domain name sale, and can NOT be held responsible for any issues or damages arising out of the actions of either the buyer or the seller.

WORD ABOUT TRADEMARKS AND DOMAINS

We do NOT try to exploit proprietary intellectual property, knowingly administer or purchase inherently distinctive domain names or names that have "exclusive value" to a sole distinctive entity such as a trademark holder.

We try our best to be good citizens, do the right thing. If you feel we are administering a domain name that you have built exclusive value in, please send a detailed email via our contact us page form and we will consider your claim.

It is clear that popular domain names often have a great deal of desirability to many different parties, due to their scarcity, inherent value, and generic meanings. Thus, we always refer questions concerning claims of right to competent counsel for review and evaluation before responding.

Our legal expert will review your claim and we will get back to you in a reasonable time.
